our mission

To actively advocate for embryos and to raise awareness with families, fertility clinics and the community about the gift of embryo adoption

To connect families together who have participated in Embryo Adoption so that they have an opportunity to walk the road of embryo adoption together and rely on each other for love, support, and advice.

Shari Kazmierczak

Shari grew up in the Detroit area and studied Occupational Therapy at Western Michigan University, graduating in 2000. She met her would-be husband, Aaron, at the age of 12, and remained friends with him through their high school and college careers. After beginning work at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, she reconnected with Aaron and they were married in 2003. They moved briefly to Napa, California where she focused on outpatient Occupational Therapy and enjoying the local culture. When they were called back to the Detroit area for her husband’s job, she continued her work at Beaumont, specializing in neuro rehab. With the long awaited and life-changing blessing of her firstborn, she worked part-time at her “paying” job and after twins were born two years later her full-time “work” became her family. She now spends her time at home raising three very active children. She enjoys the occasional quiet moment and the chaos that all the other moments bring.

Aaron Kazmierczak

Aaron grew up in the Detroit Area and graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. He then completed his Masters of Theology degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA. Upon completion of his Master’s degree, Aaron moved back to the Detroit area and reconnected with his longtime friend, Shari. After they were married in 2003, Aaron and Shari moved to Napa Valley, CA for a year, but were once again called back to the Detroit area, where they still reside. Aaron currently is employed as a Systems Engineer for a software development company which develops software for use in the automotive industry. He also enjoys being able to sub in for preaching when need at local churches and ministries when needed. Aaron is an avid hockey player and has been managing an adult league team for many years.

The Kids

After having been married for a number of years, Aaron and Shari wanted to start a family of their own, but after extensive testing discovered that for them, starting a family would not be on the traditional road. Through much prayer and seeking of God’s will, Aaron and Shari were led to Embryo Adoption and although there were some twists along the way, they eventually ended up being matched with a donor family through the National Embryo Donation Center in Knoxville, TN. Aaron and Shari are the proud parents of their daughter and her younger twin siblings.
